I had already said that I'm happy for Nev to use this guy in PDF topics, going forwards.

I'm waiting for some time at my desk before I can update the OP, and some (minor) information from Richard before going live with the base topic.
I'm still seesawing between academy or hospital.
If we are to be people for the people, then an ex public building makes sense. A school would have been for the more privileged.

I've just been re-reading the BG and timeline topic.

Neither an academy nor a hospital/manse would fit in the area we're going to use. The refugee camp description makes it clear that there's not a fully functional hospital left in Naris Capital. Nor even many whole buildings.
They'd both be more suited to High Town which is RT controlled.

So I'm going with instead, a police/guard station center, spreading outwards to incorporate tents, ruins and half standing buildings.
It's messy, but that's part of the joy. We'd still have a courtyard, we'd have civilians mingling, and ways to scatter and vanish if need be. The HQ itself is a physical presence, and defendable if it comes to it.

What if I made a character for the group that use to be a part of the local law enforcers before the tau and everything? ( kind of a good or bad cop for the group?)
