We don't get many spammers, but we get a few from time to time.
I appreciate you want to help deal with them, and your help is greatly appreciated - the mods aren't able to be around 24 hours a day, and we can miss things because we can't be everywhere.
But having said that, a few notes:
Please do not respond to the spammers in-thread. They're not reading your replies. Mostly they're bots and don't come back to read replies that happen. And replying to them means there's more disruptive posts that then have to be removed. Just report and move on.
Tying in point one - when you've reported the post, you don't need to then report that you've reported it. A reported post will notify you if you try to report it again, so nobody is going to spam the mods using the report button. And again - you posting that you've reported the spam means there's more posts for the mods to clear up.
Basically hit the report button, fill it out and carry on with your day. If you're concerned that a mod is around but has missed the report, pm us the link. That'll be fine, and it minimises what we have to do to clean up afterwards.
For anything else, questions, discussion, etc.
