The Death Korps of Krieg, as a rule, did not particularly care about inter-regimental relations. Mainly because it cared about results, not feelings. This had been brought to painful light by the rumored whispers of what had happened in the Hall of Virtue. Rumor had it, a gasmasked Krieger had gunned down civilians during a firefight. Aside from a brief tribunal, it seemed there was to be no other response. It seemed as though the myriad regiments and shattered remnants were poised to pull away from each other in disgust at past actions, rumored or not.

And yet . . . And yet, it was made clear, a short while after the Tribunal, that this state of affairs was no longer to be tolerated. A tent was erected near the training grounds. Drab and dull, flanked by two members of the Death Korps in ashen grey. A sign proclaimed that this was open to all of the rank and file, intended to boost inter-regimental cohesion as well as combat effectiveness while being entirely voluntary.

In large, official print, it read as follows.
Astra Militarum Sparring Tent
For The Boosting Of Glorious Comraderie
And Mutual Understanding Of Various Regiments
And Their Specific Fighting Styles
(Highly encouraged. Not Mandatory.)

This sign did not seem to bring the desired response.

After a day of curious guardsmen passing by with suspicious glances and whispers of "bloody Kriegers are probably trying to shank us." Several ashen coated Kriegers congregated outside the tent and conferred amongst themselves, communicating largely through brief hand gestures. Whatever the silent discussion, the next morning a new line was added under the official print in bright paint.

Refreshments inside.

This did not seem to have the desired effect either. Still the guardsmen passed by without entering. Still shying away from the dour structure. Even with the promise of refreshments inside. Again in the evening a congregation of gasmasked Greatcoats of the ashen variety appeared and discussed the sign.

On the third morning. In bright red paint. A new, poorly worded and yet surprisingly effective line was added.

Pawnch A Kreegerr

And that was that. Would anyone's curiosity get the better of them?

If so, any who enter would find the tent to be spacious. Folding tables and chairs are set up along one side, water jugs and what looks suspiciously like cookies inexpertly covered in excessive amounts of frosting are set out on the tables.

The rest of the space is given to sectioned off squares of various sizes. Kriegers waiting by each one. A large placard hanging from the center tent support pole proclaimed "1: No killing 2: No maiming 3:
No repercussions."

(( A social thread. A mixture of Sparring and conversation. As well as rock hard refreshments. This will be staffed by members of the Former 19th Krieg Siege Regiment. They are available for Sparring, with fraks stats if requested. Of course Sparring between others is welcomed as well. Officers are allowed, but encouraged to let the violence work itself out.))

One of the first people to approach the tent was probably one of the last the group of Krieg soldiers would ever expect. Hospitaller Advance Mari Valentine was given a break from tending in the Medicae Ward and was on her way to the church for some prayer when she came across one of the most unusual sights she's seen during her well-traveled career. A tent filled with Krieg advertising.... sparing.... refreshments.... and punching? All in the name of.... inter-regimental relationship building? She was aware that ever since the tribunal the Krieg have been trying to improve relations but this? As one who has suffered directly from the recklessness and mindlessness of the Krieg, Mari had to investigate.

Clad in her light blue plated carapace armor and white robes, the Hospitaller approached whoever was at the front. "What's going on here?" she demanded.

“It wouldst appears to be a tourney, Holy Sister.” Croaker cheerfully observed to Mari. He was wearing his usual Warplate and cloak. His skull shaped helm was tucked under one arm. And he seemed to be happily looking around the arena.

The guards standing at the door did not immediately respond, instead waiting for a figure from deeper in the tent to come forward.

A drab Grenadier approached the pair, looking little different than the other ashen figures aside from perhaps being a little shorter. The figure removed their helmet and gasmask a moment later to reveal the dark complexion of the 554th's drafted Medicae, December Dryden.

She ducked her head politely to the pair, and then nodded towards the hanging placard swinging in the gentle breeze from the tent entrance. "Sparring matches, Holy sister. Intended to promote cohesion. If you have a grievance agaisnt the Death Korps, you can voice it here with words, fists or training gear without fear of retaliation." She smiled politely.

"It's also meant to let different Regiments show particular hand-to-hand combat styles of their respective worlds and specific training."

One was called outside, perhaps she should join the welcoming party as well, Yes, That would be for the best.

While never actually being the cause for Inter-Regimental Strife, the 9453rd Krieg Company did their absolute best to improve the things Kriegers would usually consider a waste of time: Inter-Regimental Relations. The best scenario would have been if the rest of the 554th Regiment copied the behaviour of their odd brethren and avoided this crisis altogether but the damage was already done and it had to be fixed. The Question remains who would be better to attend and assist in those efforts other than Unit #9453/8-316?
Well maybe the Hauptmann, considering his more refined approach but he is doing the exact same thing on the Officer Level and works on plans for the next step in this war, to put him here for the grunts' entertainment would be a waste of time.

"Hallo!" she materialised right beside Dryden when she finished her explanation. Usually that unit should be in her Skull-Respirator and Helmet but the loss of protection against chemical weapons was deemed acceptable for the mission at hand. When the Respirator Mask is neatly tied around the neck and the Helmet on the belt you can clearly that it is Erika speaking to you with a wide characteristic smile, the differentiating factor between the 19/554th Krieg and the 9453/554th Krieg were the Uniform Colours for the latter had a darker variant; Anthracite Grey. And Erika did not usually wear a Greatcoat instead opting for the shorter uniform, carapace and Cameleoline Cloak.

"Greetings Holy Sister, Herr Kroaker" she announced politely despite not knowing Mari's Name. "Kome in, Release Pent up Anger. Herr Kroaker, you kann show off and reseive varning before your noze breaks!" The Towering Kriegerin Enthusiastically pointed out while she holding up the tent's entry with one hand and beckoning them to enter with the wave of the other.

Mari acknowledged the newcomer coming beside her with a look and a nod before the Krieg soldiers parted to reveal one of their own. Mari knew this particular being well for she was one of the few Krieg that could be found working in the Medicae Ward. It could only Medic Dryden. The Sororitas returned the nod and listened as she explained what was going on. She figured sparring was involved from the sign but she was more curious about how they would come up with the event. She was surprised that there were not more people lining up. Perhaps they thought it was too good to be true or that maybe people were getting over the events that lead to the Tribunal.

Suddenly another Krieg soldier appeared; another female but instead wearing the uniform of the 9453rd, Captain 1-101's company. From Mari's one meeting with him it would make sense he would have some sort of presence of his regiment in a place like this. Perhaps he even thought of it. The new female invited her and the warplated Katavarian beside her to come in. "No thank you. It would be counterproductive to break things I will have to fix later," she said to the platinum blonde with a small smile then turned to Dryden, "I was more curious to see if there was a medic on duty for an event such as this. Do you might need an extra hand or do you think you can handle this yourself?"

The Sister wasn't quite sure if she wanted her to say yes or not. On one hand, she was curious to learn more about the people on this base in general. She hardly had time to herself to even pray most times. On the other hand, she wasn't sure if the presence of a Sister would discourage people from sparring and ruin the event. From how things are at the moment it wasn't like she was needed anyhow unless things picked up. It was up to what the Krieg wanted.

"All are welcome, ma'am." December responded casually, glancing a bit oddly at Erika as she spoke. She wasn't sure about the other members of the Death Korps that weren't part of the 19th. They all seemed at least a little . . . Different in ways she couldn't quite put her finger on.

"As to medical staff, I'm here until my shift in medicae begins. Other volunteers will provide basic support as needed."

Having an inter-regimental meetup without a member of the original 554th Death Korps would have been unusual. (Un)luckily for everyone assembled here, one such unit had been provided.

Clad in the signature drab uniform of the 554th, a Grenadier - minus their ranged armaments - stood dutifully within the tent at parade rest. From a glance this was obviously #66-A-7343/G, the unit standing at the same height and build, wearing the same kind of armour, and giving the same vacant stare to the opposite wall of the tent. From a cursory glance at their gorget, they even had the same ident code (#66-A, the rest masked by the fold of their uniform's collar). Confusingly, however, this #66 appeared to still have their right leg attached to their body - an obvious discrepancy with common knowledge of #66-A-7343/G. Nevertheless, here they were, quietly remaining in position.

It was good to hear, and also slightly surprising, that they were having other medicae coming in shifts. Apparently, someone in the Guard's high command element really does believe this was a good idea. While Dryden didn't appear to need help nor did she ask for it, Mari was still invited to come in. The Sororitas thought about it for a moment. Well, this was her break. Perhaps she could spend some time to investigate. She's been meaning to try and talk with others in a setting that wasn't patient-caretaker, this could be an opportunity to do so. It would also mean she could learn more about the Krieg so something like the incident in the Medicae Ward could be more easily prevented.

The Katavarian next to her addressed the two Krieg soldiers, being polite and commenting that he wasn't sure he knew Dryden. "If you've been hurt, it's likely you may have spotted Medicae Dryden. She's one of the few Krieg to work in the Medicae Ward," Mari chimed in then turned to Dryden, "I think I'll poke around for a bit."

Mari stepped through the flap the other unmasked Krieg was holding open. There was plenty of space for sparring but also a few chairs and tables for those either waiting or didn't wish to. There was even water and cookies, as advertised. With hands clasped behind her back, the Hospitaller began to waltz around the tent to see exactly how many Krieg was here and what varieties awaited her.

"Ze Hab Block Mission ve are not allowed to speak of, herr Kroaker." Erika quiped before slipping inside the tent.
.
.
"Ve are also available for Venting Frustration via kommunikazion if you are interestedt, Holy Sister. But for Optimal Konduct I vill have to rekvest your Name." The same Kriegerin pointed out approaching Mari from behind with an offered glass of Sparkling Water. Now in a much better lighting, more details on the Krigerin can be identified like the Hairpin and Ident-Number Plate on the Gorget of her Carapace starting with #9453/... something, the rest is hidden behind the Cameleoline Cloak but if Mari cranes her head right and pay close attention... she might see it fully.

[[OOC: Easy Clever Check. Erika does not hide her number, the lighting is good and they are close enough. 0 or higher to see the Number #9453/8-316 and 1 or higher to remember this particular number from the meeting in the office by remembering #1-101's remark on that unit.]]

December smiled thinly to Croaker, though the smile never quite reached her eyes. "We served together in the hab Block, and I was with you in the Medicae during the incident."

It's almost like the blonde Krieg really wanted to fight Mari in some form or fashion. Or perhaps she was just eager to socialize and fighting was the only way she knew how. When she turned around to face her she was surprised to find a glass of fizzing water for her. Her turquoise eyes tracked from it to up to her gorget where she spied a number, likely her serial number. #9453/8-316.... she's heard that number before. Then she remembered: their Krieg officer, Johannes Wyss if she remembered right, mentioned the number that this woman was the one who was close to Drocol, the one he wanted to enlist in their investigation. This will be an interesting meet and greet indeed.

After a moment Mari realized she was looking at it too long. She looked back up into the Krieg's eyes. "Sorry about that. I am Hospitaller Advance Mari Valentine, but you can just call me Sister Mari," she said, "I was just realizing I recognized your number, though I am afraid I don't know your name. May I learn it?"

[Rolling to Clever 1 to ID the Krieger.]

[Total Result: 1]

The Grenadier presumably identified as #66-A remained still and ramrod straight, giving the Hospitaller the briefest of glances before returning to their blank staring. At present, they gave no other identification or acknowledgement, an emotionless blob of navy uniform and black armour amongst the uniforms of the 19th and 9453rd.

[[If you want, you can roll Clever to catch "#66's" full ident-code. You'll need a 1 as it's obscured by the fold of their collar - or you could just ask them, that works too.]]

The unnaturalness of this Krieg's movement to go for a handshake shows that not only was she trying hard to improve relations but Mari found it a little endearing. She gave a small smile and took the hand, giving a nice, firm grip. Erika could feel that where she should feel some give that flesh would offer would only find the cold metal of her right hand hidden underneath her gauntlet. After the shake, Mari asked, "So Erika, what do you specialize in? You don't seem like a line trooper."

Wilfred walks the camp His steps sinking into the ground lightly. Behind him with slow lumbering steeps sinking deeply into the wet ground behind him. The Ogyrn Dug close behind him. His head low in his body. His movements almost graceful and careful in his own right. The out side to him was scary to him Not safe and warm like home in the tunnles though.

Wilfred read the sign to the kreigers sign. He felt a twinge of sarrow and understanding to a point. He thought he was a rat out of the ashes here at times. But kriegers seemed to be of another kind compleatly but defenly didnt believe that they should be punched for that. Tapping onto dug. The two walked into the tent. Taking a moment to read the room. Seeing the over forsted cookies he takes a bite. feeling his molar crack he swallowed the single bite. Frosting was great at least. and gave the rest of the cookie to dug.

Dug didnt know how to feel the kreigers. Looking at the gas masked people reminded him of the Stone mites back home but less crazy and more scary and quiet. didnt set him right. Feeling his cousin taping his chest he saw him offer a cookie he took it and sniffed it for a moment. he had to give it to the kreigers they knew how to bake at least. he did chew on it. Eyeing the cookie tray from time to time as he fiddle a little.

Smile? Good, success for now.
The moment Mari tightened her Grip on Erika's Hand, the latter woman's eyes darted down to it followed by craning of the head for better vision and analysis. Grip too tight for apparent exerted power; Different Texture, Smooth surface; Different structure of hand, Jagged lines more similar to outlines of plates. Bionic.

The Kreigerin refocused back on the Hospitallier's Face with some measure of Confusion "Scout Unit. Itz in ze name. Andt Kameleoline Cloak." Erika replied in a somewhat baffled expression, she just introduced herself as as a Scout Unit, perhaps the Hospitallier's Ears were also Bionic and Malfunctioned? "Komme, ve are blocking ze entry" She then added, given the fact an entire Ogryn & a Sergeant entered the tent. While they were making a few steps to the side into an area appearing like a chair and a table made out of wooden Crates: Erika Observed, Distribution of Weight, Pacing, tiny repeating creeks of machinery
[[Rolled Clever to study Mari: 2 +2(Clever) = 4]]

Yes, A Bionic Leg as well.
"Andt you are a Hospitallier Sororitas, Former Sister of Battle, yes?" the Kriegerin abruptly turned around, her enthusiasm doubled at the prospect of making an accurate character analysis
