Sir Creedanfall "Croaker" Vervusius

Physical characteristics Brown hair, dark green eyes, multiple dueling scars, large burn scar across his throat, raspy deep voice.

Born: Feudal world of Katavar

Joined the Imperial Guardas part of the traditional levy of men and women who were selected at birth to be a part of the levy. Was trained as a heavily armored shocktrooper. He favored using a shotgun along side his sword shield. Keeps a tally of kills along the inside of his shield but nobody is sure if it's accurate or not.

High Concept: Eager warfighter: Croaker is almost always ready for the next fight to be taken to the enemy, it doesn't matter what they may be.

Trouble: Good Stories are Rarely Accurate: He is a known fish story teller in that whatever story he may be telling, you can be sure that it was embellished a thousand different ways to the point you can't get a straight story from him. Especially when he is excited.

Aspect: Sharp Knife can Save Life: He is always Meticulous when caring for his traditional plate armor and Shield as well as his weapons.

Sir Havelock "Drakken" Stethel

Height 6'2"

Physical Characteristics: Tall and powerfully built. He has military cut Black hair with red stripes. His most striking feature however, are his bright crystalline green eyes. Which have an inner dim glow and are slitted much like the Raptgars he has an affinity for.

Born: Feudal world of Katavar

Joined the Imperial Guard as part of the traditional levy of men and women who were selected at birth to be a part of the levy.

He was immediately placed amongst the Raptgar riders after showing an almost Unnatural ability to ride one. And their strange fondness for him as well.

He also showed great aptitude with the Power Glaive he was given after receiving his Battle name for his actions in the Sectum Gladarius campaign wherein he was Promoted to the rank of Knight Lieutenant. He was not given a command however, but instead put in charge of the Raptgar Stables. A fact he is most at home with as Raptgars make more sense to him than People.

He is usually found sleeping in a little nook of the Stables amongst the Raptgars, something that no other Freeblade is capable of trying, due to the fierceness of the Raptgars. Most of his work is ensuring that the Raptgars are well fed and Healthy. Which he is fanatical devoted too. He also maintains pedigrees for every raptgar in the stables. He works hard to breed the strongest, fastest, and fiercest mounts he can.

High Concept: Undisputed Master of Raptgars: His affinity for Raptgars has consumed his entire being. There is nothing anyone knows about Raptgars that he hasn't read about or discovered on his own.

Trouble: Almost Too Alike: between his eyes and strange affinity, he has been the subject of investigation multiple times by the Psyker cult of the Freeblades. They always find nothing but continue to watch him.

Aspect: People are strange: He becomes withdrawn and quiet around other humans. Especially if separated from his own mount "Drax". He also communicates with the Raptgars in their own language of Clicks, Hisses, growls, and whistles. Which he tends to do, even when talking to people.

Physical Characteristics: dark brown hair kept short; hazel eyes; a lean muscled form of a runner. A ring of scar tissue at his left elbow.

Born: Tau occupied world of Fae'orie


History: Born on a tau world that was recently taken. Nagru grew up in a family that hid its Imperial faith and only paid lip service to the Greater Good. He started manifesting his pysker abilities around his 15th Birthday. Mostly just small sparks between his fingers. With nobody to teach him, he kept his ability repressed as best he could. Ignoring whispers that pressed him to expand on his talent, Nagru joined the Gue'vessa in order to get away from his home planet. His squad was placed enroute to Naris, where he had both the fortune and misfortune to be placed on the same ship as a Kroot family lead by a Shaper named Anghor Prok. Anghor seemed to almost sniff out Nagru's talent. While on the way to Naris, Anghor taught Nagru some basic control over his abilities, how to fortify his mind against the warp Predators, how to modify his body as he willed. But always cautioning the young Psyker not to reveal his abilities to anyone.

After landing on Naris, Nagru lost contact with Anghor for a couple months. But instead was sent with his squad to the front lines. On one fateful mission, his squad was ambushed in the night. They were slaughtered to a man, Nagru was knocked unconscious, waking to find the form of Anghor standing above him. He discovered that the Kroot had been stalking him since learning of his psyker abilities. And now was going to eat him in order to strengthen his own power. Nagru managed to surprise the Shaper with a bolt of electricity. And stumbled away from the massacre. Unfortunately Anghor unleashed their Kroot hound after him. The beast chased him, and bit his left arm off. Despite being wounded, Nagru managed to kill the beast with his back up auto pistol. He sealed off the bleeding stump of his arm and staggered into the night.


His dazed rush eventually lead him into the arms of the remains of the PDF. Who he convinced that he was a loyalist who had been attacked. After they took him, he has told only a few people he has grown close too. If only to explain why he had two arms again.

High Concept: Self Taught Psyker: Nagru is mostly self taught and thus has some strange ideas of how to best channel his powers.

Trouble: Oh God, They Want to Eat Me: Nagru has a deep rooted fear of being eaten, especially by Kroot.

Aspect: At Least They're Human: Nagru tends to overlook the worst in humans, because at least they aren't xenos

Aspect: Stand Tall and Cower: Nagru understands that sometimes he needs to stand against his fears to protect others. Especially when they can’t protect themselves.

A strong jutting jaw with a clean shaven face.

Born: Feudal world of Katavar

Joined the Imperial Guard as part of the traditional levy of men and women who were selected at birth to be a part of the levy. Was picked out early as Officer material and has risen in prominence through the ranks. During the campaign on Gladius Secundus he was promoted to Lord Knight Commander of the Freeblades and was sent to recoup his company from their losses and help liberate Naris.

High Concept: Focused Commander: Urdnot is a good leader, trying his best to keep his men alive. Despite higher ups or even despite his men themselves. He sees it as his job to make sure the Katavarian Freeblades go a long way instead of a famous way.

Trouble: Disillusioned with Imperial Creed: Urdnot has seen enough callous commanders that will sacrifice their men for pointless objectives. He thinks that there is something fundamentally wrong with an empire that can give rise to so many men.

Aspect: Neat and Proper: Urdnot, despite being a warrior at heart, always try’s to present himself as a competent commander. While he has no problem leading from the front, he recognizes that it’s not as feasible as it used to be for him to do so. So he instead restrains himself to staying behind a desk.

Billium Carmine


Height: 6’0”
Weight: 250 lbs
Age: 24

Physical description: youthful tanned face with a few freckles. Long brown hair tied into a ponytail. No beard or mustache. Cheerful green eyes. Muscular, tall. Has a bit of a twang to his voice. Wears a wide brimmed, well worn leather hat, a dark green scarf around his neck, which he sometimes wraps completely around his face.


History: born and raised in the jungles of the death world, Kemrini. A world overrun with a single creeping, carnivorous vine of a plant. Billium has known hardship, loss, and fear from a young age. He hasn’t let it affect his positive outlook on life however. Whether it was facing the spore zombies of the frontier jungle, or the deadly needle spraying pods of the mid jungle. He took first chance he could get to leave home.

The ship that took him away was a mercenary crew, looking for able bodied to fill up their roster. Billium was excited to travel the stars. Unfortunately, the next contract the mercenaries took was on an agriworld known as Valmaria. The Noble family, Billium never learned the name, abandoned the crew and took command of their ship. Forced to survive on their own, They started doing protection for anyone willing to pay. Unfortunately, with no way off planet, the crew was whittled down till only Billium and a few wounded friends were left.

Billium decided to try and strike a deal with whoever he could in order to keep the last couple of survivors from starving or bleeding to death. This lead him to making contact with the Imperial Guard’s less official channels as well as attempting to make contact with the local PDF forces as well.



High aspect: You can take a boy out of the jungle;

Billium is comfortable taking point in almost any situation and capable of blending into the background easily

Trouble: You can’t take the Jungle out of the Boy;

Billium is very touchy about the ability to move and leave on his own terms. He feels he knows the best way to accomplish his part of a goal, so let him do it his way and leave him alone.

Quirk: Well, I ain’t never tried that before;

Billium has always been curious, sticking his nose everywhere. But his most adventurous nature shows itself in his cuisine. He has tried to make a meal from almost anything he has killed that wasn’t human, or human descendant. Barbecuing is his go to favorite method. He likewise is adept at trying to make a brew of some kind from anything he can.
