Great questions there, folks.

We're glad to see things taking off to a cracking start, with new players and more experienced folks starting to dip their toes in and have a good time. Keep it up!

But just because the comic is a guard comic, don't think that you're limited to playing on the base, or as an Imperial Guard character.

Maybe you're a Guardsman on patrol around Naris - start a thread out in the Naris Capitol area! Or you've been tapped for a patrol out to one of the observation posts, or just to manage the roads around Naris - then Outside City Limits is for you!

If you want to play a Naris citizen, feel free. Maybe you want to help the Imperials and offer to be a loyal spy for the Guard... or perhaps you're a perfidious Xeno-lover and want to try to undermine them from within by just pretending to be loyal!

Heck, maybe you even want to play as a filthy Tau or repulsive Kroot, just itching to be stomped on by the mighty Imperial Boot of Justice! We won't judge you (disclaimer, we'll totally judge you).

There's an in the General subforum if you've got any general questions, but feel free to ask rp questions here if you'd like. Though if you'd rather ask them in private because you're not sure if they're silly or not (hint, there's no silly questions, but I know the fear!) please feel free to PM me.

Addendum: While the mods will endeavour to keep an eye on things as much as possible, we can't be everywhere at every time. Each post does have a "report this post" button at the top, if you think you see something egregious or just plain wrong (or alternately if you find a post that's clearly from a spammer) just hit the magic button and we'll have a look at it.

Please be warned however - we don't like tattletales. If something happens that's clearly in-character, please don't report it just because you don't like it. We know none of you are going to hit report just coz reasons, right?

So I saw the invitation to ask RP questions here. And I saw that tere were none yet, over the course of nearly a year, so that's a touch intimidating. Here goes, though:

I see a date that says we're in M42. Does that mean I could play a character who is associated with the Logos Historica Verita? Maybe? No?

Hello Zeitsev and welcome! That is a fantastic character concept... but unfortunately, the setting is set just before the events of the Rift and the Fall of Cadia and whatnot. 5 minutes to midnight, if you will.

That said! A rememberancer/historian character would be an awesome character, so the concept is still good! He can be on a similar quest for truth, but with a harder job, since he doesn't have a Primarch's order backing him up.

Thanks for the quick reply, Richard! What I'm looking to play moreso than a historian is a character who was snapped up into the service of an Imperial Agency somewhat later in his life. I had long ago conceived of him as an Interrogator, but when the Logos Historica Verita came along that tickled my fancy. Any other suggestions?
