++BEGIN REPORT++
Day 01: Escape pods from Unyielding Dawn touch down safely on to planet. 8 Imperial soldiers emerge from the wreckage, defer to Commissar Raymond Yorke for instructions. Yorke decided the group will stay in the area till communications can be established with imperial forces. Task are assigned to group, delegating to each members strengths. With limited food supplies, a small farm of wild rice, found during Erika’s scouting mission, is planted. Joseph found a suitable location to fish, as reports show local wildlife is not overly toxic. A small shelter is constructed by Krast, Luca and Wilfred, digging into a small cave and using supplies to enclose the area. Watch has been drawn. The group wonders if others could be on the planet.
+Day 02: Watch reported nothing but wildlife movement at night. Reports of a strange, gargantuan creature resembling a fungus was spotted during Luca’s watch. Progress on the base was made. Small ruins were found by Krast and Wilfred, and the proposition of making it a small cold house from the escape pods life supports was brought up. Debate about whether this was tech heresy arose. Hat claimed “If they don’t find out, it isn’t heresy.” The decision was eventually made to carry out the plan to convert the ruins. A small wind turbine was also fashioned from components from the crash to supply power to cooler system
+Day 03: No activity beyond patrols. Large sloths seem to have moved into the area. Relatively peaceful, potential meal source should supplies run low.
+Day 04: Communication reestablished with imperial forces! Vox communication with the remnants of the imperial fleet in orbit began in the early morning, and orders were received. The group had landed near a mountain range, not far from another human town. However reports showed a Tau base had arrived not far, roughly 50 km to the south east. What more, several ork klans had become more active from imperial arrival and one such group was located further south. Groups position is currently the only imperial outpost in the area, and due to Tau air support landing craft can not retrieve the group. Yorke is instructed to have the men establish themselves on the world, and to hold out until imperial forces can arrive. The group, now under the call sign Outpost Naris, decide that the base will have to be improved. Defensive structures are set up by Erika, will a secure area to store items. Nils presents the idea of deducing how to use some of the groups supplies to advance their chances, using his knowledge gained from his time in the navy. Krast and Wilfred decide to construct proper cots for the group, seeing as their current spots on the floor are a tad uncomfortable.
+Day 06: Outpost has some turmoil. A recent fight between Nils and Krast has left both bruised, but otherwise unharmed. Nils insult towards the cadians skills caused escalating violence. Yorke has developed a anxiety disorder, isolating himself in the woods near base. Luca attempts to bring him back, however Yorke refused, stating he needed some time to himself.
+Day 07: First contact with human presence. A local approached camp, and was quickly brought into the base for questioning. Speaking a rudimentary form of gothic, he was able to explain some of the surrounding local and terrain, along with some customs. The most important being trade medium. Locals use thumb sized disks of silver as currency between trades. He was generous enough to provide a map. Sighting of gargantuan creature confirmed. Xeno appears to be a large collection of vegetation, fungus and mold, moving around in a animalistic fashion. Doesn’t appear outwardly hostile nor intelligent.
+Day 09: Xeno assault. Eldar forces arrived via southern pass, moving in towards the base. Guard effort dealt with intruders quickly. Erika scored a kill, hitting one eldar directly to the right eye, killing the Xeno filth instantly. Mass lasfire killed two more. The last Xeno cowardly tried to run, but Wilfred suppressed the target allowing Hat to immolate the area. All corpse were either burned or buried in a mass grave away from base.
+Day 10: First harvest of crops comenses. Wild rice plants grew well, providing plenty of supplies, along with venison hunted by Erika. However, guard cooking is rarely so flavourful. Nils succumb to food poisoning from Hats meal, vomiting violently outside. Some of the harvest was lost due to one of the native megasloths, who at several pounds of food. It was scared off by Luca.
+Day 12: Some progress was made, as the creation of a basic workshop was made to help keep up with the bases demands. As work was done, parts from the crashed pods were scavenged, revealing a hidden compartment inside one. An imperial flag, somewhat fraid but in excellent shape otherwise. It was raised outside the main barracks, raising everyone's moral.

++NEW REPORT IN FROM TERRA. BEGIN PLAYING+++
+Day 15: Base progress is advanced, plan to create secured perimeter brought forward by Erika. Imperial navy appears to have dropped supply pods containing food supplies, very welcome during this time. Cat spends time working in the workshop as Wilfred begins tunneling out a medical bay.
+Day 17: A vox message was received from nearby Eldar leader, who called for a talk of peace between the two sides. Hesitant, the group held a vote on what to do. It was unanimous; no quarter for the enemies of the Emperor. No party would be sent to the talks.
+Day 18: Nothing to report. Joseph was attacked by a large river eel. Joseph was able to kill it as it attacked. Hat made a meal for him out of it.
+Day 21: Traders from a human outpost wandered by. They said they were an exotic good merchant. While exploring their goods, Krast was surprised by a large creature, which he thought resembled a Tyranid organism. Before shots were fired the traders quickly made it clear that this creature was native. Named a raptor Shrimp, it was a fierce attack animal. The Raptor shrimp seemed to take to Krast, even with constant shooing. The traders decided to give it to the outpost for a small amount of gold mined during base construction. Wilfred decided it needed a name, and after a brief discussion with Hat and Joseph they named it Solomon. Krast still refers to it as “Bug eyed freak.”
+Day 22: During his patrols, KRast found a very special plant. Lho seeds. Growing wild, he quickly gathered the seeds and convinced the others to start growing them. A small amount is now placed in the outer fields. Additionally, more cargo pods were received, this time with strange processed meat. At least it appears to be meat, even if it looks like some kind of plant matter. Hat wonders what the hell the Munitorum is sending them.
+Day 25: Even in these circumstances, the human spirit is strong and unyielding. It would seem that Nils and Hat have struck up a bit of a fling, and are enjoying visits to the recruitment office. This is a little hard with a shared barracks. In other news in light of the low food supplies, Cat has ordered the group to get the escape pods onboard nutrient systems online. While not as tasty(it's just green grey slop), Erika doesn’t seem to mind. A more elaborate barracks is planned, hopefully replacing the old one as the primary workshop.
+Day 27: A flu has broken out, affecting Krast, Yorke, and Hat. They are placed in bed, and treated the best they can. Additionally, a strange eminence in the warp drove an alpaca into a blood frenzy attacking the base. Was quickly killed by Wilfred
+Day 30: Fall seems to have arrived on the planet. With it a strange new visitor. A Giant arachnid, easily the size of a chimera, has moved it. It appears to be extremely hostile, assaulting any creature that draws too close with a paralyzing web. It also carries a clutch of eggs, pulsating and growing under its thorax. Spider will be left to its own devices as of now.
+Day 31: A mistake was made over the ferocity of the mother and the rate of which the eggs hatch. A small brood of cat sized spiders attacked camp. The mother also appears to produce more eggs without an apparent mate. Joseph says that it may not need one to keep making eggs. If this is true then the mother will need to be killed quickly. It appears to have killed off several herds of deer, preserving them for her young. With the amount she has gathered, the amount of hatching may be a truly terrifying.
+Day 32: Luca, Hat and Joseph volunteered to deal with the mother. Sealthly moving in, they quickly say the affect the mother had. Webbing was spun across several trees, some threads the size of steel cables. The team moved further in, seeing many animals cocooned, some still alive, in the paralyzing web. In the center they spotted it, the clutchmother. Her egg sack had almost doubled in size, and many smaller ones feasting on the animals. Then, the battle broke out. Luca had accidently stepped on an egg, alerting the mother. With a bellowing schriek, she rallied her spawn who charged the intruders. Luca unleashed on the wave with his hell gun, as Joseph covered their flank. Hat attempted to use her flamer, but found the webs were highly flammable, risking the teams safety. As the team fought, more hatchling came from behind, forcing Joseph to shift his fire. Things looked Grim, til Hat decided to throw caution to the wind and immolated the area. Eggs popped and cooked under the searing heat, hatchling ran from the inferno. The team was optimistic, till the mother drew near. Spitting out webbing, it hit Hat, causing her to freeze up from paralytic toxins. Luca drew the beast away, firing a score of las bolts into her side. With a swift turn, the mother hit Luca with her leg, sending the Lucifer flying away, but he stood once more and continued firing. Joseph ran to Hats side, using his bayonet to cut through the webbing, feeling his fingers tingle and numb through his gloves. But he was able to free Hat enough for her to dig himself out. Joseph then turned and fired onto the Mothers rear, causing her to pull away from Luca. IT charged forward, but this was what Hat was waiting on. In a burst of Promethium, she fired into the beast weak under belly. Fire engulfed the spider, as it thrashed about in its burning Nest. The group pulled back, watching the nest go up in flames. This world was proving to be more than a handful.

++NEW REPORT FROM TERRA. BEGIN REPORT+++
+Day 33: after the battle, things returned to normal on base. Construction of the barracks walls was complete, and it would seem love continues to bloom, as Joseph and Erika developed a relationship. How the Krieger and Bacaran mesh emotionally is to be seen.
+Day 35: Disaster strikes the outpost. A plague native to the virus has infected Erika,Nils and Wilfred, bedridding them. Locals call the disease the Red Sorrow, and claim it is extremely deadly. Hopefully with the advanced Imperial medicine the group can survive. But at night, a herd of ibex are driven into camp by a warp storm. Emperor protect us.
+Day 36: Yorke and Joseph take up a secure position to deal with the ibex. A few well placed lasbolts, and several poorly placed bolt pistol shots, and the ibex were dead, and a new source of food. Krast spent some time tending to the sick, as his training covered over the topic better than everyone else. The first snow began to fall that night. While beautiful, the group needs better winter gear.
+Day 38: the infection has passed, and the outpost begins gathering supplies for the new barracks. Some members decide to repurpose the escape pods engines to make a heater. Some how it works.
+Day 39: the heater exploded before a solar flare. This set Cat of fire. Hat and Krast decided not to mention where they got the parts.
+Day 41: strange new creatures wandered into camp. Tall, powerful four legged beast, with platinum white fur and sky blue eyes, with a single razor sharp horn on their head. It moved through the camp, eyeing each member slowly, as if it could understand their plight, before moving on. It was a strange experience, one that seemed to have health Cat with his anxiety.
+Day 43: Winter is fast approaching, with more snow fall and colder temperatures. Most of the group has on cloaks to help with the cold, save for Krast Hat and Nils. However the new barracks is up and running with a plan to move the kitchen and food dispenser closer. Also, It was brought forward that perhaps a church should be made to honor the Emperor, and a small side building has been made for such a place. Thankfully, a drop of medical supplies came to care the group through winter.
+Day 44: Low temperatures have killed most plants, sending prey animals into hiding. A opuntunistice bear spotted the colonies pet, a dog named Honjie, and attempted to eat them for food. However, their was another predator in the area. As the grizzly bear charged Honjie, Solomon dashed forward before anyone could react, their speed like a Eldar raider. As it crashed into the bear, scything claws open, it slammed the bear in the bear, disorientating it, before lascerting the creature at blinding speeds, by the time the bear could attack, Solomon had already finished the job. A few cuts and a bite was all the massive insect received, leaving a mangled carcass in its wake. The group was stunned, as the raptor shrimp simple carried their kill to feed. Krast decided that their pet wasn’t such a freak any more. One of the most surprising things was that in a few hours all of Solomons wounds were fully healed, not even a scar.
+Day 46: Nils has finished working out how to create basic mortar tubes and shells. Two have been constructed for the base, making Erika exceptionally happy.
+Day 50: Winter has fully fallen. A small medicae ward has been dug, and some basic bed are set up to rest in. Nils has gotten a few of the solar cells from the escape pods, the last bit of them that remains, and has figured a way to use them on the ground.
+Day 60: Food processor broke, nothing disastrous due to food stores but Krast spent a fully day fixing it. He made several remarks about how he should be a tech priest, how he wasn't a tech priest, cursed the machine, apologized, gave up, kicked it, apologized again, before he was able to get it activated.
+Day 63: the Altar to the Emperor was built. From fine marble and some gold, it lifted everyone's spirits, right as Krast announced hostiles inbound. More Eldar, from the north. 8 strong with a hell of a lot of fire power. Everyone gathered up for a fight. The Enemy came from the north pass, a small river leading them towards base. The team took up position and fired into the kill box that was the cave mouth. The first scout was riddled with holes before he realized what was happening. The rest took up cover in the cave mouth, returning fire. One Eldar was equipped with a powerful weapon, with which they fired. The explosion sent dirt flying, leaving a hole in the sand bags. Krast rushed forward, firing into the break. But another Eldar was waiting, and fired a bolt from their gun. It pierced through Krast helmet, and he fell. The battle finished quickly, and the group moved to Krast side. By the Emperors grace he was alive! But the bolt had burnt out his right eye. Moved to the med bay he was treated the best Nils could. Cat and Wilfred moved to the pile of eldar bodies, seeing if all were dead. Two eldar were found breathing, their wounds too great for them to stand. The Commissar decided to interrogate them, to learn of any valuable information.
+Day 66 Krast regained consciousness, and was told the situation. With a nod he turned to face the ceiling. The prisoners wounds had been patched, minimally, and they were questioned. Little value was gained. Debates of whether to execute the or force them to work are common. Erika suggest feeding them to solomon, while Wilfred says they could just strip them and leave them in the creek for a while. Krast remained silent. As debates were happening, there was a scream from out side followed by a roar. Solomon had caught and mangled another Eldar, possible here to break their friends out. Still alive surprisingly, they were captured with the others.
+Day 70: Prisoners are mobile, but kept under watch by Krast and Cat. There was a sudden vox broadcast, as a young woman asked who was on the other side. It appears that a member of the adeptus mechanicus was here, and she was looking for a place to stay. A strange request, but not one the group could ignore. The new arrival, BB-711, was welcome to the base. She asked where all these machines had come from, Hat said not to worry about it.
+Day 72: It was decided that the prisoners would be made to work. A prison camp and quarry was set up for them to use. Krast would help over see it. For now the base will begin to focus more on defense, with mechanicus aid development should increase.
